When reading this Book reason upon the thought that if other people can draw, I can draw. Chapters of the Single Rose Book Understanding the Grid Pattern ![]() This chapter is a break down of the Grid concepts. Taking a look at negative space this section first focuses on perception or distance. Using the outline grid pattern draw a complete realistic image of art of a rose. The chapter further delves into shading and artist drawing techniques of the different areas of the rose photograph provided. A number of Grid patterns are included within this e-Book. There are four grid patterns with half inch squares. The first Grid pattern is a color image of the Single Rose that can be use for oil painting references. The second Grid pattern is a black and white image for contrast reference. The third Grid pattern is a pencil line image overlaid with a grid for transferring the image to an artist canvas, wall, ceiling or whatever you choose. The fourth Grid pattern is also a lined image but the grid overlay of half inch squares has been scrambled like a jigsaw puzzle. It's hard to tell what the image is until you begin drawing each image in each square on a blank grid sheet. These are very good exercises to use if your an art teacher helping students to learn to see as an artist sees. Shading Techniques Explained This Book is still in writing, currently unavailable due to be released at a future date. |
