"The Sunflower" Graphite Pencil Section Step by Step Sunflower Drawing

Before working on the oil painting it is good to get a better understanding of the characteristics of the sunflower. This can be done by using an outlined image to help our artistic mind. A grid pattern outlined sunflower enables the contours or shapes that make up the sunflower image to be drawn correctly. Practice artist drawing with a grid pattern to expand your art level towards achieving realism. As you progress with practice you will find you are able to draw more easily different artist subjects more accurately.

Shading and detailing the different areas of the sunflower image will bring the sunflower even more closer to realistic art work. We will cover drawing techniques on drawing which will help us to better understand some of these art principles.
