![]() Get Your Free Rose Grid Pattern Graphite Pencil Section of Art Lesson You will need your image sheet of the Gray Scale Grid Pattern from the Grid Drawing Package for this art lesson. You also need to transfer the grid pattern and Rose image to your drawing material surface. Art Lesson Materials List : • Drawing paper or other suitable drawing surface. • Sharpened pencils. • Scale for measuring and drawing lines. • Pink eraser. If drawing on a wall make it a big eraser. The Rose Gray Scale grid drawing pattern is made up of thirteen squares horizontally and seventeen squares vertically. Each square is about a half inch in size. By measuring the size of your drawing material you can enlarge or reduce the outcome of the Rose image. Knowing this is benefical when your artist surface may be large sized wall you plan to draw or paint on. For example the material I am using is eleven inches by fourteen inches Bristol drawing paper. I divide the width of my drawing surface of eleven inches by thirteen horizontal squares. From this I learn that I need to make my squares roughly about .846 inches or 27/32 of an inch each on my drawing surface. This will create a full size image of the Rose but it will also just about doubles the Rose image in size. |
