Art Overview Reedy River Falls Park

To the right is the full digital photograph I'm using as an art reference. I've then cropped the waterfall photo to get just the right art composition that I wanted for this artwork. The original image has too much interest to capture for right now. The cropped photo of the falls was then placed under a transparent grid pattern to transfer the waterfall image to an oil painting canvas.

For the image to be placed on the canvas with the right ratio the grid pattern size needed some adjusting. The artist transparency grid pattern squares are a half inch in size. I had to enlarge the grid squares to a two inch size. After the grid pattern was made then transferring the waterfall image was begun.
